My Ethos
To Hear You
To See You
To Champion You

Dear Expectant Parent,

This season of your life is exciting and bound to be life-changing. A well-planned support team is one of the essential tools at your disposal to have the most satisfactory pregnancy, labour, birth, and postpartum period. I am grateful that you're considering making me a part of that team!

Although I wear many hats; Oxford birth doula, postnatal doula and antenatal educator, I aim to always support you to feel prepared, empowered and confident approaching your birth and postpartum journey.

You may have questions about antenatal education, doula care or my philosophy of birth.

Please feel free to get in touch with me.

Hi, I'm Lesley-Sheena

I live in Oxford with my husband and vivacious 2-year-old daughter. I recently – through the help of a wise teacher – realised that I am where I need to be and being who I have been called to be, and that is to come alongside families as they navigate their unique path of fertility, conception, pregnancy and parenthood. It is both an honour and great privilege to hold space for someone during such a sacred journey. I am originally from Namibia and have a deep appreciation for culture and diversity. I welcome the opportunity to serve families from all backgrounds.

What Is A Doula?

A birth/post-natal doula is integral to the prenatal, birth, and postpartum season. Consider your doula as your family’s go-to person for information, resources, and practical, physical, and emotional support person from the beginning of your pregnancy and into your postpartum journey. We are your personal support for those never-ending questions and decisions you encounter throughout your pregnancy, labour, and postpartum stages. We are committed to providing you with excellent care, so you feel heard, supported, and nurtured as you prepare to nurture your little one(s).
